Pics?
Nevermind. The aquarium is very close. Insectarium is nice. You could take the riverboat to the zoo.

I thought they close early? I need something for hours after 5pm. Like 5-8 pm Friday night. And 9--12 Saturday
Also isn't there some trampoline place in New Orleans?

Sector 6 in Elmwood. It gets really crowded on the weekends so you need to call in advance for reservations. The clientele is a little less than to be desired.

You can take a riverboat from near the Hilton to the zoo, then return on the street car to the Hilton. It's great for the kids.

If you have transportation, City Park can fill up a lot of time. They have a storyland area, a small amusement park, mini golf, bike/cart rentals.
Hell, just going to have beignets out at the Morning Call and letting the kids play on the playground, feed the ducks, and climb in the amazing oak tree branches would be fun.

Sector 6, but that's not in NOLA (It's in Jefferson). And if you don't go for the kids play in the morning, your kids will get trampled by the bigger kids.
Check our the monkey room, bookoo bounce, and palm tree playground's Facebook pages. Bookoo bounce is a lot of fun for kids.

I think the aquarium closes at 5 pm. Highly recommend the children's museum. My 2.5 year old nephew cries every time he has to leave there, though. He loves it. He loves storyland, also and both of those more than the aquarium.
I haven't been the Riverwalk in ages (connected to your hotel), but there's probably something you could do in there Friday night. I think the shops are open until 7 or so. You could take them to eat dinner there and then get beignets at the Cafe du Monde in there. There are or there were some children's shops. They can look at the MS River and probably see some big boats, ships, barges...
