Husband has a company meeting Friday afternoon and Saturday morning and wants us to tag along to New Orleans with him. What type of places could I bring the kids (2 and 5 years old) while he's in meetings and dinner (Friday afternoon/evening and Saturday morning)? Would be staying at Hilton riverside

Aquarium is literally next door to the Hilton riverside. Also the zoo isn't too far away.

gonna both be a cluster frick on a Saturday. At least the crowd will be kind of thin at the zoo, if it's warm.

do you have a vehicle?...definitely hit the Aquarium since you are staying close to it...you can also take the free Algiers ferry boat across the river and back...Audubon zoo is nice...
Daneel Park on St. Charles is a friendly little neighborhood park, perfect for kids that age, but is is closer to Tulane.

Ha, NOLA is not a kids city by no means. This question has been poping up since the existence of the OT and it's the same answers. Aquarium, insectarium, zoo, children museum
