Wear lsu shirts everywhere and look at all the weirdos wearing osu jerseys (since jerseys are frowned on in the south)

You could take a day trip to the University of Michigan. Just go west till you smell it, and then north till you step in it.

I was there about 2 years ago. I made this thread. Got a lot of the same responses you did. But a few different ones as well.

Good bakery and book store in German village. I really can't think of a memorable meal or bar in Columbus while I was there for 4 days. Good lookin city but meh.

In the Arena District, look for Park Street, you cant miss it. It has all the bars and women. Park Street Patio, Park Street Cantina (hot women galore) , Brother's, Gasworks, Callahan's, The R Bar, and Novak's Tavern. You should also check to see if the Columbus Clippers are playing at home when you are in town. I would HIGHLY suggest starting your night be hitting up a Clippers game, then taking the 2 min walk over to park street. Huntington Bank Park has won Park of the Year twice since it opened...including the year Yankee Stadium opened. The AEP Pavilion is a great place to start yourn night drinking, watching women and baseball. Hope this helps!

The building in left field is full of nice scenery.

Atlanta.

Columbus is one of the best cities in the country if you aren't trashy. Lots of great food and beer. Check out the zoo as mentioned and make sure you get a burger from Thurman.

Ohio is the eastern edge of the Midwest. Not sure what's so hard to comprehend.

Short North and Downtown have great nightlife now, every day of the week. And as others have said, it's safe and clean. You can walk around at 3am downtown and be completely safe on every street.

If you're into German food, head to Schmidt's restaurant. Make sure you get a cream puff. Thurman's has huge great burgers, also in German Village.

There are great restaurants.bars in the Short North as well. Press Grill, Melt(grilled cheese place), La Fogata (Mexican with a great patio), Bakersfield (tacos, tequila, and whiskey), Arch City (bar), Union (pretty classy gay bar, with really strong drinks).

And really many more options in the Short North. If you're in a suburb, we can direct you to other things closer to you. But those are some of the highlights of nightlife, near and in downtown.
