I have some background in this stuff and have seen plenty of self-appointed "experts" offering some unbelievably horrible advice. I watched the video expecting more of the same but must say these guys seem to be getting it right.
The emphasis should absolutely be on RUNNING AWAY. You know who gets killed in these active shooter deals? The people who curl up in a ball and lay on the ground. You know who doesn't die? The folks that run like hell.
Humans have been surviving for thousands of years by running off like animals.

1. If you can run away, RUN AWAY.
2. If you can't, hide and barricade. (lights off, pile furniture, be quiet)

If you can't run away, attack. Tackle them low and everybody join in to beat the hell out of him. May lose some in the process but better than everybody getting killed.

If you can't run or hide effectively, this is your 3rd option. And tackling low when someone has a gun is fricking retarded. Get a weapon.
