On Friday he hammered the importance of contact tracing and how we needed to hire at least 250 people and train them. I see a 2 week extension with that as the excuse.

Have many if any other Dem. Governors opened up yet?

I don’t think he gives all that much. I think he’ll have to do somthing but it will be so watered down that it won’t feel like anything other than what we “could have been doing all along”

I know this is a dumb question, but with the actual data how can he justify that?

It's not a dumb question, in fact that's the question everyone has been asking for weeks now. It's become apparent that JBE is ignoring the actual data and making shite up to keep LA locked down because he is drunk on power and working in unison with other democratic officials to drag this out as long as possible.

He went past May 1st so he’s going to drag this out till June 1st. He will say we making progress towards reopening but aren’t there yet.

Prediction will be JBE will continue to try to leverage the term “Stay at Home order” for political reasons while actually loosening things up.

“As we continue to fight this Covid-19 virus, I’ve extended our stay at home order until June 1st. However, I would like to remind restaurants and bars that they are allowed to open their interior spaces to 25% capacity. In fact, they have been able to do so this whole time under existing order”

It’s clear from national media and national politics they don’t actually care about what’s actually allowed/prohibited. All that matters nationally is Governor level stay at home order or not.

This will continue until July when the stay at home order will be extended again, except all businesses and public spaces will be limited to 100% capacity.

I don't keep up with the news. Is the general consensus really that he is going to extend the stay at home order?

OT Baw consensus is that he will never lift it. It will extend into infinity. And when he does lift it, he will do so solely because the OT Baws forced him to do so by their brave and noble defiance.

At 2:30 pm he will announce, IMO, that the stay at home order is extended 2 more weeks

I think this is going to happen too, but for the life of me I can’t see the statistical reasoning behind it at all

It only took one region to lock us down last time, and now Region 6 (?) cases are “rising”

My understanding is that the democratic governor that can keep the stay at home order in place the longest gets To be the vice presidential candidate so...

The state has received very poor grades in social distancing which in turn means the herd immunity is ahead of schedule.
