What the hell is wrong with cox??

Internet has been down near 3 hours now. I’m paying damn near 300 a month for this shitty service? Internet been going out each day for a couple days now

Switch to Eatel if you can. $300+ a month is absurd. That's a car note.

Their new move is to just push back the time estimated till repair. Last week it showed 2pm, then 5pm, then 11pm. Woke up the next day and it showed 5pm.
Cox has been a complete joke of late. And don’t bother talking to “support” because the ONLY suggestion I was provided on a consistent basis was to “increase my plan.” Yet no one at Cox Support could say how the more expensive plan was going to “fix” the outage issues.
I’d switch if I could get the same speeds with more reliability. Cox was at least fairly reliable over the years with minimal outages here and there. Now, it seems like they are out 2-3 times a week at a minimum.

$300 a month for internet? You sound like a sucker. Do you have like 20+ people in your house all streaming videos at the same time? If not, you are a frickin sucker. 50mbps for $50, also with cox.

It’s internet bundled with cable and phone. Need a couple gigablast routers to cover the needs of all the devices in my home(laptops, smart tvs, gaming, phones). It definitely gets expensive
