When Dalychia Saah and Rafaella Fiallo were in graduate school in 2014 at the predominantly white Washington University, they were keenly aware of how few spaces there were for black people to meet and share their experiences and ideas with each other.

Noting that these discussions were happening much too rarely among black people, Saah and Fiallo created Afrosexology, a now prolific traveling seminar that, in its third year, aims to advance dialogue about black pleasure, desire and sexual liberation.

There’s this belief that kink is a white thing. The orgies, the play parties, even a nudist beach or sexual fantasies — people believe these are just white things. Like, nonnormative family structures have been very common in the black community, whether we called it polyamory or not.

The bullshite that people will make themselves believe is ridiculous.

OK, so how do these women reach out to and influence the sexuality of the younger blacks? Younger blacks who have been experiencing coitus and motherhood at 13? Even talking to the younger sexually active blacks and teaching them approaches a line that could be defined as statutory rape, depending on the teaching tools (including those they illustrate.)

Sexual liberation and easy divorce did a real doozy on the black community, not to mention the welfare state and the drug war. In the 50's and 60's, black births in marriage were higher than whites.

Normal people call this a fatherless household and it’s not worth celebrating

Helluva a way to put lipstick on the pig that is the absent black father and the chaos that causes in inner city black culture.
