What The Deal With This Company NXIVM? Is It A Cult?

I never knew what NXIVM was until today. So it's a company that sells seminars that promote a certain way of living? The website is pretty fricking basic, where is it most popular?

I did look at their wiki page and just skimmed it.. Then became curious about where they were out of.. not realizing I just saw it on their wiki page.. A former Enron employee is a member.. That makes it more appealing..

20/20 doing a story on them tonight. One of the morning shows did a segment on them this morning. Weird group, it appears very cultish from the little bit I watched.

No idea. The morning show was about a woman who appeared mid 40,successful and appeared normal that went to some house in NY with 4 other women to get initiated into some secret society she says is linked to the group.
They were all made to get naked and held each other down while they were branded on their abdomen with a hot object. A symbol was etched into her.
The symbol when viewed sideways was that groups leader's initials. The group leader says he wasn't involved and had no knowledge of that event.
