I get this view every night at an overlook literally walking distance from my house. Never gets old.

Grand Canyon. No words can adequately describe it.

Nearby is Meteor Crater. Astounding.

The Longaberger Basket Building in Newark, OH. Seriously, when you see it, you don't know whether to say "oh cool" or "WTF". It kind of leaves you in a state of amazement for reasons your mind cant explain.

The color of the Ocean in Bermuda was beautiful.

That's the highest spot in Alabama.Mt. Cheaha.

I've sat up and watched the Sun set.It slowly went below the Horizon until there was a little sliver of light. Then it went pitch dark, and I was still sitting on the edge of a mountain.

The Pantheon in Rome. World's largest unreinforced concrete dome. How they built that 2 thousand years ago with limited technology is amazing to me. The fact that it has withstood earthquakes, 2 world wars, and many other conquering hordes, including the catholic church that robbed much of the beautiful marble from pagan Roman structures such as the Coliseum to build churches, is equally amazing. The Coliseum is pretty amazing as well, but it hasn't stood up to weather and stone robbing vandals as well as the Pantheon. There are so many monuments, structures, and churches in Italy that will take your breath away, but this was my favorite.

I haven't been to the Grand Canyon yet, but I've been to Yellowstone several times. That entire place is stunning.

These three things brought me to tears when I saw them in person:

1.) The Pantheon, Rome
2.) “The Birth of Venus”, Florence
3.) The Opera House & Harbor Bridge, Sydney

I felt the same way. I kick myself for not living in Manhattan, New York in my younger days.

St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. It's one of the most impressive things I've ever seen.

Hoover Dam, flying in at night seeing the Las Vegas strip for the first time, Lincoln memorial, Arlington Cemetery. Seeing things you’ve only seen on tv with your own eyes for the first time is definitely unforgettable.

Didn’t see the Grand Canyon up close but flew over it and I was glued to the window.

ETA: Really all of the monuments and Smithsonians in DC left me in awe.
