Don't get sucker punched. Go to lumber yard get material prices , then double . That is final cost. Who needs a master carpenter

I think it is high for labor only. I do a fair amount of carpentry and this is not difficult work.
The math: Let's pay him 60/hr and her 40 which is at the top end for carpenters and very high for a 'helper'. 9 hour days= $900.00
Middle of his estimate 12 days, (which to me is WAY slow, but it is HIS estimate) $10,800.
You seem to be, in my model, paying him top dollar yet his productivity is not there.
