$200 bucks to drop off trash at the landfill
That’s insane! It’s free where I live.
There is a minimum here. One bag or a bed full, its $200.
Cruise ships filled up our landfill, running out of room so they are charging the shite out of locals. Dumbasses dont realize that this is a recipe for people to start littering.

Yep, I haven’t been to a barber/stylist for a haircut in around 15 years. Clippers and a #2 guard.

The worst I’ve ever seen is data recovery from a broken iPhone. Software update bricked the phone and wanted to get pictures off it.
I was quoted $1200-$4200 depending on certain factors. I mean, GTFOH with that bullshite. The phone didn’t even cost $1200.

Canned soft drinks. I don’t buy them, but my husband will. $8-12 for a 12-pack is hard to take out of principle when it wasn’t THAT long ago they were half that price.

its the request for tipping like stated above. EVERYWHERE you go is asking for a tip now. Really pisses me off. If you provide a "service", you deserve a tip. Ringing me up at a subway isnt a service.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but this is where we are heading for good.
2 years ago I sat down with my best friend and my father for lunch and we discussed just the world in general.
We look like we are heading to 2 class society where the service folks will depend on the upper middle class and above to make due.
Its sad but its true. Every day that goes by where 10,000 families live paycheck to paycheck due to bad spending practices there are 3 families who are run by a savage in finance who is doing the exact opposite. Aftter 30 years of this all those families money ends up in deeper pockets.
Economics.
If we restarted everything today the same folks that have money now would still have it and those that dont wouldnt.
Discipline.
Oh and, its not how much you make its how you spend and invest. Many will scoff at this comment and many will be wrong.

Plastic toys. My 7 year old wanted some toy that was nothing but plastic pieces and it was $80.

Wife took our four year old son to a barber a month or two ago and it was $40.
If he gets a simple cut, learn to do it yourself. For the cost of one hair cutting session, you can buy you a nice set of clippers. You can spurge and get one more expensive or battery operated, but I bought one about 3 or 4 years ago and never looked back at going to a barber.

I find the cost of many vehicles today to be laughable.

Insurance. It is a product I pay a crap load for to hope I never use.

Food trucks want 25 dollars for a burger.
It doesn't set me off because I don't allocate for that in the budget.

I haven't had an infraction in over 10 years, but my insurance went up from 93 dollars to around 110/month

I see lots of people with money driving older cars.
Even those buying newer cars are downsizing.

The cost of vehicles and repairs have gone through the roof. A minor fender bender and they've got to replace a bunch of sensors and cameras in taillights etc.

Where the hell do you live? It’s free here as long as you live local inside the Parish. 200 bucks ? I am finding a private place to just dump it, no way I pay that

My place has gone from $35 to $55 in the last 2 years.
Absolutely infuriating. Takes them 20 minutes to cut my hair. It's insanely simple. I'd move, but it's so damn convenient for me and I love the girl who cuts my hair.
