I don't know anything with the word "club" seems to scream alcohol, drugs, and sex. I have no clue what a club promoter is either. I know they were popular in the 80's and 90's and used to book concerts if that is what he is referring too.

I just remember hearing booking acts like 2 live krew, Eminem, sir mixalot, etc. Yes I am no youngster myself.
