I know a half dozen that are well into 7 figure incomes, post here and have not nor will be mentioned in this thread. Part of the reason they are is because they are smart, discreet and humble.

I'm not one of them but I will say I have had zero debt since 2000 which is comforting and makes life a bit more interesting and fun.

The reality is we're all ot ballers. Go travel around the world and see how the average human being lives and see how an American making even $30-40k lives. Air condition,tv,cell phone,Internet, not sleeping under mosquito nets, not at risk of genocide. All those things apply to us Americans and put us all under ot baller status in the scope of things.

That is correct. None of our shacks blew away in Haiti with an income of $2 a day.

I don't understand if shite is that cheap in Haiti why it isn't possible to buy up so many resources and make money some how. Economics 101 says there has to be an opportunity there.

Because governments in these awful countries are even more corrupt than ours. People complain about ours being corrupt and that's true but they're still 1000x better than other places. A neighbor of mine in Miami had his family oil business nationalized by Chavez,he literally took it away from the family and they escaped to Miami with what they had left and were fortunate they'd move money to the us over the years. In all these crappy countries you have a few wealthy people who own everything and it's incredibly difficult to ever move up

He seems ok to me. Sounds like someone poked the bear and he responded.

This will sound awful but i did shake my head when it showed the haiti residents putting boards over windows of their shacks! Maybe it gave them a false sense of security .

I'll just say this...There is very little that the current wife and I want to do that we do not do. Our tastes run to the simple and we don't flaunt anything. We know what we enjoy and we own some things but they do not own us...As I have gotten older, I have come to learn that this attitude is what makes life enjoyable.

Some mistakes may have been made. One lowers his head and moves forward. If you get on the wrong subway, you do not have to ride it to the end of the line.

You should spend less money on cars and get a better camera.
