having lived there as a transient for 2 separate occasions. I would have a sharply focused itinerary picking out the things you want to do and plotting out the path. think of Houston as a transient city, not a destination.
South west Houston has some amazing Chinese restaurants

Go to the San Jacinto battlefield and gaze at the beautiful monument that dwarfs the Washington Monument. Try not to gloat too much since 90% of the other visitors can probably trace their lineage to someone on the battle’s losing team.
Then head to the closest Fiesta to buy some groceries; yes, they take American currency.

The northern edge of West University Place at 59 can get rough. I once saw a Cullinan taking up more than 1 space. Notice the owner wisely has The Spirit of Ecstasy in the down and safe position, he knows what's up.

Much like NOLA, any area that refers to itself as a Ward.

Houston is a shithole. Go to The Woodlands, the crime rate there is much lower and there’s a shite ton of restaurants to eat at along with shopping malls. It’s basically a huge shopping center.

Hilarious. Did you come up with this on your own?
