Lot of a-hole in Ascension. But I think it's mostly the transplants.

Nope, the natives are huge assholes, all the Babin’s, Gautreaux’s, LeBlanc’s, are very clannish.

Winn parish hands down

I lived in Winn for several years until just last year. They’re not the friendliest but in no way match Orleans.

This is stupid. I live in Lafayette, and wear LSU gear most Saturday's in the fall (along with most of my friends), and I've never heard anything negative. The vast majority of my friends are also LSU fans.

There is a large faction of ULL fans who hate LSU. If they’re still ranked after their next win, they will be screaming “We want LSU!” I honestly wish I was wrong about this but I can guarantee, I am not.

I'm in sales and have accounts from Katy TX to Mobile. Been in the business for 20 years. The people of New Orleans are by far the biggest assholes of them all. Trouble is, they don't know they're assholes, it's just how they are.

I’ve lived in Orleans Parish for over 29 years and am a very friendly person. But, there is something about being from Orleans parish and dealing with random bums or people asking for something that makes me guarded and less friendly to people in general at first. I find I’m very guarded until I know the person I’m talking to isn’t trying to get something from me. And then at that point I’m the friendliest in the world. But, for that first 5 minutes I know I come across as I unfriendly /guarded. And , most passing conversations don’t get passed 5 minutes, so that’s why I say Orleans Parish is the most unfriendly.

I agree!! Don’t ever tell anyone from Baton Rouge you are not from Baton Rouge (or Baker, Zachary, Central) - if it’s obvious you’re not - they’re rude

If you didn’t go to LSU for one of your degrees, even if they have none - they’re rude

If you tell them you are from the city of New Orleans (not a burb) they look at you like you’re crazy and then slowly back away (which is amusing)

BR people also like to pretend BR has no problems (I’ll admit, New Orleanians like to revel in their misery)

Although I dump on BR - I have never met a nice person from St. Amant - not sure if that’s all of Ascension or not

then NELA
then new orleans
then br
then laffy/acadiana

In my experience, with a few exceptions, yeah..

NOLA private school people were much more open then the BR ones. Laffy was like something out of a bama small town deubtane. Northshore was the worst.
North Louisiana was racist

Hipster wise , slidell, Shreveport, or br - radio bar crowd

Green rock, maybe
