I bet Boy George opening for Elton would sell out A&M’s stadium.

But if i had to bet money, Morgan Wallen might be able to today because he'd draw in people from any conceivable driving distance. His cheapest concert ticket in arenas sells for around $300 right now and if it ever got to around $100, the masses would flock to see him.
So a guy who is playing The Warf in Orange Beach (capacity 10k) could play a place 10x the size?

The people who really want to pay to see them are all getting way up in years and not really interested in concerts anymore.

Saw him in February in Vegas. Great musician, but I don't think it was a sellout in a smaller arena. It's a pretty low energy show.

George Strait easily could and he wouldn't wear any makeup doing it either.

He had bout 105k in Arlington, which broke a 33 year record for largest indoor concert in North America. The record broken was The Rolling Stones in the early 1980s.

Back to the N La vs. S La. thread, SouthLA just ain't country hoss. Plus he plays in Bossier every tour and its way easier to drive there than deal with BR/LSU area traffic.

George at the Houston rodeo averaged around 75k fans, with his largest being 80k
Guess they aren’t country either

George is an arena performer. He isn’t a 100k guy with any consistency

The rodeo is a bad example as its not really part of a tour and Houston, country? The 3rd or 4th largest city in the U.S..? I'm just stating the facts. Record holder for largest indoor. Tiger Stadium is outdoor, though so obviously you can't compare Arlington to BR in this instance.

It was his last ever concert. Yes, if George strait for whatever reason had his farewell concert at tiger stadium he would sell it out, any other circumstance(such as when he played in 2024), he wouldn’t come close

Paul McCartney maybe so... he's playing 20,000 seats in Knoxville next month and seats are $500+. If they were $100 I would probably go.
Could be wrong but think McCartney is better suited for smaller arenas with more expensive tickets. I think the kind of people interested in seeing a former Beatle may not be as numerous as a Brooks or Chesney but probably have thicker wallets.

Have you tracked any of his ticket or album sales? Sold out back to back nights at Madison Square Garden earlier this year. So to answer your question, yes.
