I have been an engineer all my career….but I think I would like to try something creative in retirement.
Making knives or carving wooden duck decoys are the first things that come to mind.
Maybe making some fancy little birdhouses that I could sell to the MILFs at craft shows!

A watchmaker for nice watches. So much to learn but can work from home after making enough industry contacts and building a clientele somewhere.
Or a concert violinist. Not sure which.

I saw an old guy at the grocery store today, must have been 85 and walking with a cane, and he had that on his T-shirt.
It made me laugh out loud.

I collect rare antique fishing lures and all other fishing equipment (rods, reels, tackle boxes, bobbers, bait boxes/buckets, magazines and more), plus antique hand carved wooden ducks, and also antique tools. I basically have created a fishing museum in my basement and an antique tool display room in our garage. I make some of the display cases and shelves for rare and old fishing lures out of old glass windows that I also find from antique stores, estate & yard sales.
