re: What NOLA is up against…..NSFW

I lived in NOLa from ‘63 to ‘72 I was 12 when we moved there. We loved the city. We were in the grocery business in sketchy areas and never had a problem until drugs hit the city. Dad finally had to quit, sold out and moved back to Avoyelles Parish in about ‘85. We used to take all our vacations down in the city because of friends, family and so much the city has to offer. Hunting and fishing paradise!

I have a son that lives there. He hasn’t had any problems.
I may never go back. I am afraid that I may have to kill someone to keep me and mine from being killed.
It’s heartbreaking to see the place go from what it used to be to a 3 rd world fricken hellhole.
I have never been afraid down there even up to about 3 years ago. There may be funerals I can’t avoid but I won’t stay long.
I don’t want to spend my time with my head on a swivel waiting for something to happen.
May the Current administration AND state officials rot in Hell for not doing more.

Like all major cities across our country, it seems that minorities are the majority, Why?
Why do black folks submit themselves to this way of life? Don't give me the bullshite that most are poor and can't start a life somewhere else...that ship done sailed. With generations of help from the government you would think they could move out to the rural areas and be free of the criminal element that they presently wallow in.
Let 'em have the cities!

Some criminals are redeemable, they make mistakes, serve their time, and succeed in making something of their selves.

This guy isn’t one of those. He’s a psychopath, only options to deal with him are life in prison or a bullet in his head.

Liberals by and large don't care. A 5 month old was just shot in the head in Chicago. Father was driving home, someone started randomly shooting and killed the baby.

Did Mayor Beetlejuice mention it? No, she made a public appearance yelling “F**k Clarence Thomas” into a microphone.

Anyone from BLM mention it? No. Anyone from Chicago City Council act on it? No. Where’s the “community organizers”, who make sure they’re present to grab their share of grant money. Any comment on that? No.

There are quality people who live in those war zones, and can’t escape. I feel bad for them.

But the bottom line, is they keep electing the same grifters into office. Nothing will change as long as that continues.

According the news on Fox 8 she worked at City Hall (or somewhere in the CBD). Possibly Austin Badon’s office? Grief counselors had been deployed fir her co-workers.

The killer was her ex-boyfriend and he had threatened her with violence before. She had a restraining order placed against him. He is clearly a heartless murdering POS and didn’t care that he killed her in public.
