I have a pound dog who was close to death when she was picked up. GS mix who weighed 20 lbs. Fine now but still chews and eats her toenails. Sweetest dog I've ever had.

No idea what kind he is...just a resue with a fat neck and tiny head. Think I narrowed him down to part terrier part chihuahua.

What's weird is that his litter mates all turned out to be 3x as big as him.

Dogs can be pregnant by more than one other dog.

Maybe you got the only one from the chihuahua

My first Weimaraner was with me 15 years but she developed a tumor and I hated seeing her uncomfortable and vet said she was in a good deal of pain. Cried like a baby when I let her go.

Hang in there

Lab/border collie mix. He has the size of a Lab, small white markings on his nose and tips of paws, and a splash of white on his chest. Short ears though. He is smart and lively and just reached 4 years. Love to watch him take off an run.....

Well. I woke up this AM to go to work and he was just laying on the floor which is very in normal for him. He was panting hard and couldn't get up. I stood him up and he couldn't stand. Called my vet as I knew it was time. My vet is no where to be found so the emergency vet is the only option as it looked like he was having trouble breathing. Laid with him for a little while and let the wife and kid say their good byes. Carried him to my truck and laid him on the seat. He loves rides but he seemed to not even know what we were doing. He did stand on his 2 front feet for a second when I put him in and pulled off. He eventually laid down and the minute I pulled into the vet parking and put my truck in park, he stopped breathing. I'm thankfull he did it and not me. I like to think he just wanted to take one last ride with me and gave up at the end.

fricking onions.

As an owner of 13 year old chocolate lab all the feels right here. But, it does seems like a fitting and peaceful end.
