What kind of bug is this?

I find these from time to time in my apartment. I hardly ever get bugs here but these are the exception. Sorry for the shitty quality pics, as the bug is pretty small. It's about the size of a peppercorn.

That's a stink bug. They are hard to get rid of.

It’s a carpet beetle. I’ve had them before and have no idea where they came from.

I got rid of them by vacuuming every couple of days for like a month.

That's what it looks like to me too. Weird thing is I've never heard of them until I googled last night cause I've killed 2 in 3 days.

Real question. Do people not use Google lens or does iPhone not have this? I Google lens everything and the results are usually 95% accurate. Even for this bug.

I'm not familiar with that, but thanks for bringing that up. I like humoring the OT but I think I'd like to have an answer quicker so I may as well try that next time

I discovered there were hordes of them right outside (on my front and back porches. I would wait till they would accumulate late at night and I would step outside and spray that fogger insect spray for 2 or 3 days and that ended them.
