Haven’t worn them personally but BIL ordered a pair of ropers and has been very happy. Appear to be good quality and a simple enough process for ordering/exchanges.

Go on ahead to that Lucchese shop in The Gulch(the most expensive area in Nashville) and see how much they cost. I can get a boot that is $900-1000 at that shop for $400 where my parents live in Georgia.

I’ve found stock boots much cheaper online and in other boot shops than in Lucchese stores. Not sure that’s something unique to the Gulch. Last pair I bought were from Allen’s Boots in Austin and had been returned. Several good mail order sites out there as well, but sizing, returning, etc can be a crapshoot and at best is a hassle.

Allen Edmonds has a flash sale on factory seconds this weekend. The Higgins Mill boots are $190. Thinking of pulling the trigger.

OP - Country Outfitter is about as good as you’re going to do online, IMO. They have stock boots from all the better brands and free shipping, pretty easy to work with on exchanges. Good resource if you know your size and don’t want anything custom.
