My office window gets a view of airport traffic daily and passing f-15s probably once a month. You definitely can tell the difference and I try and get a glimpse.

Just flew over Mandeville too... saw two F-18s, the back one was rotating right and left, like rocking side to side

Math time:

Fly over BR at 2:43 and 2:55 they're over Covington. How fast are they flying?
They flying pretty slow for fighters huh? if you just assume ~80 miles in 12 minutes.

Not sure, but their MPG must be through the roof at those speeds
