I have no fewer than 10 pairs of Brooks. Only work Hoka's once and hated them.

My G-d you people are soft as baby shite. That much squishy stuff makes your ankles more unstable, but you eat the social media marketing like your wives do. You don’t need to walk on marshmallows, you need tougher feet.

I'd much rather Brooks (I have multiple pairs of these) over Hokas. I don't think I'd ever wear Hokas. And I'm 50. I also like NB and Asics.

Hoka’s are better

On clouds are literally shoes for dudes in their 20s.

Wrong. Ons are for 20 YO dudes, middle/high school girls and soccer moms who want to look cool and like serious runners but actually don't know shite about good running shoes.

Ons ain't those.

I wore them (Cliftons) for my long runs my last Ironman go around but they became grass cutting shoes after that.

Been back in Brooks ever since (Hyperion).

Vans

JFC what a bunch of olds around here. 52 Father of four and I wouldn't be caught dead in any of the previous 5 pages of has been footwear. Half the year I wear steel toes for work and the other half I been wearing Vans since 1985. You can even customize them to get exactly what you want.

Agreed.

Ive worn Brooks for years, probably have 4-5 that I rotate for running, and another 4-5 for causal wear.

Are OnClouds are a real running shoe?
