So sorry about the things that have happened to you in your life and I am terribly sympathetic to your situation being a parent myself, but it's also not fair to say that because it happened to you (as a rare case), that it's the absolute gospel regarding vaccinations. How do you explain all the other kids who are vaccinated and come out just fine?

Same ones think every vapor trail is geo engineering that the govt does secretly even though to the rest of us its obvious that not one instance of weather by geo engineering was ever used to save us from weather or climate.

Or the extreme reduction in child mortality?

Have you any knowledge of the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Fund, a 1996 Federal mandate which required that a portion of the fee for all vaccinations be held by the Federal government for the payment of vaccine related injuries? Do you think that the Federal government knew a problem existed? The fund was so overwhelmed it became insolvent quickly and limited claim payments to only those who could clearly prove, via documented evidence, that the vaccination had effectively made the child into a "vegetable".
This is a complete load of horseshite on just about every level.

Nurse, I have significant education, combined with experience. As well, I have a great respect for what you are contending with personally, and hope that your dream comes to fruition. But unfortunately, you can't understand certain logic because you do have not walked that road.

What was that education? A law degree doesn’t mean you’re an expert in biology.

You understand pain and suffering. You do not understand biology or vaccinations.

Didn't you know this particular guy or gal sat on the board of an in depth study group of physicians at Johns Hopkins University?

While I have worked in pharmaceuticals, you’re thinking of someone else.

Thank you for the degree of civility. I am not anti-vax. My sole purpose was simply to demonstrate that that lack of understanding and the ability to discuss the matter without emotionalism and misinformation keeps the chasm wide between the camps.

Again, not trying to be a dick, but your argument is entirely about emotionalism in the trauma in your life, and not empirical evidence.

Those people will eventually get others killed with their foolishness.
This is the problem that I have with it. I really don't care if an individual catches some shite simply because they chose not to be vaccinated....however, the idea that someone else suffers because of it is what makes me mad.

Again, I'm sorry that you were dealt a shitty hand in life. It's not fair. But it's also highly irresponsible to try and connect the dots and pretend to be a doctor. It's a slap in the face to somebody who has put in the time and effort, the blood sweat and tears of going through med school, being a resident, etc. - to completely undermine all of that and from your lazy boy say that you know more than a medical professional based on this bad thing that happened to you, personally. If it was just that easy that you could bypass med school/residency and simply read a bunch of shite online, don't you think more people would be doctors?

2)Have you held your infant son while he experienced grand mal seizures on one side of his body for 24 hours beginning 45 minutes after receiving a combo vaccination? I HAVE! He is now age 22 and is profoundly autistic. While I will not state that the vaccination "caused" his autism, I will emphatically state that the vaccination caused a severe traumatic neurological event to one side of my infant son's brain.
Yes, I have held my toddler daughter as she experienced grand mal seizures and struggled to breathe. She’s 8 now and has severe brain damage. She won’t live to see 22. And if she’s exposed to some mother fricker with measles or polio, then she won’t live to see 9.
Crack open a history book and read about the absolute horrors inflicted on our ancestors due to contagious disease. Anti-vax people are working to bring those days back.

Well now we have the Ben Shapiro to our Jimmy Kimmel grandstanding over trauma.
Sorry to both of you, but now we wait for a response.

No. I immediately consider them idiots and their opinions invalid.

National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program Vaccines save lives by preventing disease. Most people who get vaccines have no serious problems. Vaccines, like any medicines, can cause side effects, but most are very rare and very mild. Some health problems that follow vaccinations are not caused by vaccines. In very rare cases, a vaccine can cause a serious problem, such as a severe allergic reaction. In these instances, the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) may provide financial compensation to individuals who file a petition and are found to have been injured by a VICP-covered vaccine. Even in cases in which such a finding is not made, petitioners may receive compensation through a settlement. How It Works The National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program is a no-fault alternative to the traditional legal system for resolving vaccine injury petitions. It was created in the 1980s, after lawsuits against vaccine companies and health care providers threatened to cause vaccine shortages and reduce U.S. vaccination rates, which could have caused a resurgence of vaccine preventable diseases. Any individual, of any age, who received a covered vaccine and believes he or she was injured as a result, can file a petition. Parents, legal guardians and legal representatives can file on behalf of children, disabled adults, and individuals who are deceased.

Correct, it was started in 1986 after the Congress passed a no-fault law for the manufacturers of vaccines after the price of DTAP vaccines skyrocketed in response to baseless lawsuits regarding its safety. Every study conducted in the DTAP vaccines determined it was safe but that didn’t stop some judges allowing class actions to proceed which almost bankrupted the manufacturers. This would have resulted in the DTAP not being available for all but the superwealthy.

I believe that there aren’t nearly as many white hippy anti-vaxxer moms as social media and news media want us to believe. I believe the fake anti-vaxxer “movement” is just a cover for the tens of thousands of illegal immigrants and imported refugees that are un-vaccinated and reintroducing infectious diseases. However, now that the media has been repeating this lie for so long, people are starting to buy into it and actually leave their children unvaccinated.
Then, when you think it can’t get any worse, it turns out Merck spiked their Gardasil clinical trial’s placebo group to hide the dangers, so there’s at least one vaccine that actually is harmful, which makes even more people believe they’re ALL harmful. We are so f$&ked

Not in Louisiana, but they’re here in Denver. It’s only like .5% of kids if that, but that’s big enough to be concerned.
