I’ve been a long time user of AIM toothpaste which imo is the most underrated one out there

I’m running low though and was considering changing things up and trying a new brand so I figured I’d go to the one place I can count on for top opinions and see if there is any consensus on a favorite toothpaste the board used

Ultrabrite. But at $1 it's getting harder to find. It's either crest or Colgate. Can't remember which one.

My wife and I married in 1985. Being the considerate woman she is, she bought Colgate toothpaste because she thought that's what I used. Being the considerate man that I am, I used that Colgate even though I preferred the Crest that I had always used. Last year - 38 years later - we discovered that we both had always used, and preferred, Crest and had been using Colgate out of misguided consideration for each other.

She was very touched by the whole thing and sucked me off that night.

Okay, I made up that last part.

Ultrabrite

Be careful, Ultrabrite is VERY abrasive. I wouldn't use it as my daily toothpaste for long periods.

Don’t really have a preference, whatever gets the job done. We tend to buy Colgate mostly though.
