It's actually a very good school, and well regarded.

A med student from Liberty rotated with us for a month. He was normal, not socially awkward or religiously zealous. He got his undergrad from a “normal” college. Probably has as good a chance at matching as other osteopathic schools. Long story short, it probably depends on the degree.

From what I've read, it might be a plus if your career ambition is to be a political underling in a right-wing administration.

I genuinely have no idea whether it has any reputation academically, good or bad.

Just getting a general business degree... I'll be selling roughly 20 years of experience, not my degree. The degree is just a block to fill that gets me in the door.

Daughter and her husband hold degrees from Liberty and they do quite well. Very nice couple, conservative by most measures.

Our son has taken on-line courses from Liberty, done well, but not his cup of tea...too heavy on theological underpinnings for his taste, which hasn't surprised me.

I'd be concerned about Jerry Falwell Jr.'s elevating Trump support to a religion. More so because of how it'll be perceived by others, although I think he's pathetic.

Liberty is probably the best of the far right/evangelical schools, but it was probably hard enough to use that degree before the Trump era. With so much hostility now, seems like it'll only get worse.

Well it was founded by the guy who said 9/11 was God’s wrath on America for allowing homosexuality and abortion, so yea, that pretty much summarizes it for me

Went to law school with a couple of Liberty grads. Good people. I don't care what your personal opinions are on God or politics. If you can do your job and make the business you work for successful, that's all that matters.

Good school, I have 2 degrees from there. I didn't find it hard to get a job after. Great campus. Good athletic programs. Lynchburg is a nice town.

Liberty is a good school. It doesnt deserve the rep it gets because they lean conservative. Bob Jones and Pensacola Christian are a different type of school. Neither of those are SACS accredited, but Liberty is.

I would have no problem sending my children there or hiring anyone from there.
