I know in the Midwest its "pop", other places it's known as soda. For some reason I've always called it a coke, dosnt matter the manufactor or favors. I could say I'm gonna grab me a coke and come out with a dr pepper, etc thoughts?

Might as well say I'm gonna suck down a brew and wind up sucking cack instead.

I always say "pop"
Soda is foreign in Canada
Just like when I am in the US and people look at me funny when I ask where the washroom is instead of the restroom

In the third ward you call it a cold drink.

I know they have the "pop" thing. I dont get how they differentiate though. Between the different types.
I guess it originated when we did not have 75 different types of soft drinks

"A coke" or "a drink"
What do y'all call a water fountain? Especially for those from the Midwest.
