I loved sailing into Miami one evening from the Bahamas. 48' single hull. The skyline was beautiful.

Sao Paulo: There are no true "skyscrapers" here due to building restrictions

Since I am a Ohio boy, I like coming around the corner (I75) in Newport Kentucky and boom, there’s Cincinnati

I lived in Cincy for 15 years. The Nati skyline is something that I miss..

Hot take: NOLA's isn't bad.
NOLA’s screams “Dried up on the vine since 1984” to me.

I’m amazed we’re on Page 6 and no-

I like ATL right now, because that means I'm almost home.

Boston skyline is a pretty nice view from across the water in East Boston.

Hard to beat cities in Asia. Hong Kong, Shenzen, Shanghai. They are amazing at night.

We flew into MIA late a couple nights after Christmas and we looped out over the ocean on approach and when we banked to make the turn it was cool to look down and see all the old Art Deco hotels on Ocean Ave lit up with the high rises in the background.

We flew to Miami New Years. And that Atlantic approach and the Miami skyline is hard to beat.

El Paso is kind of nice

Not much of a skyline, but I always thought having the mountain setting was cool, distinguishes it from other major cities in Texas.

From Scenic Drive up on Mt. Franklin:

When I was living there and attending UTEP, I always liked how they lit up the old Wells Fargo Plaza building on different occasions:

The building next to it with the blue flame on top is the old El Paso Natural Gas building which has been renovated into mixed-use property. The flame lights up in different colors depending on the weather forecast.

Like I said, nothing special, but it does have some unique features to it.

Also, to me, seeing the star on the mountain miles out on I-10 after driving through the mind-numbing endless emptiness of West Texas was always a welcoming sight.

Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta and Dallas for me. I wish I still had that photo of Dallas off I-30 W I took leaving Arlington.

Sure, make it cookie cutter like everything else now. No soul - just glitz.
