I carry my crap on. The MLC is glorious.

One backpack strap out...at most I have to take out my laptop. Never even been courtesy checked.

I hate it when I'm sitting next to a screaming kid and the airline won't let me change seats just because the kid is mine....

People who feel the need to lean the chair all the way back. People who need more room than the armrest provides.

It's amazing how many problems we are forced to deal with in this life just due to so many Americans being fat as frick.

You can pay them 85 bucks for precheck and get to skip all the bullshite except the x-rays for 5 years. No bullshite for your shoes, belts, liquids, laptops, jackets, etc. You just put your shite on the conveyor, step into the scanner, and grab your stuff on the other end of its x-ray scan and go on your way.

I have precheck.

Just depends on if the employees working that day are slightly less terrible than normal.

No one’s answered the question yet. If using phones on a plane is safe, why the insistence of making everyone set theirs to airplane mode?

Because 92.3% of people flying are idiots and/or lack complete self awareness of their surroundings. And you don’t want them with the ability to talk on their phone.

Your phone can cause annoying interference with radios while it's looking for towers. But not enough to bring the plane down or cause someone to come looking for you.

And they're annoying. If they gave people the ability to talk on the phone the suicide rate in airplane bathrooms would skyrocket.

frick yeah, only regret is not getting Global Entry instead. It’s a little more money but Pre-Check comes with it.

I would pay substantially more for this without a second thought.

Sorry people, I don’t sympathize with you when your kid is going nuts on a plane. Nor do I feel bad for you personally. You deserve the pissed off glares you earned for the next few hours.

I have 3 year old twins and a 6 year old. Flying with them is a nightmare. We try to drive everywhere, but the beach trip this year we are going to fly.
