Yep. Same here. Just bought my first skinny tie 2 weeks ago too. I'm currently in the process of getting all my dress shirts and pants taken in to make them slim fit rather than baggy like they are.

I'm in NYC for the week working. I was walking to work this morning from the hotel and I saw this guy walking in front of me.

Fairly tall and thin guy. The dudes pants were skin tight. I didn't have a problem with that as much as I did the fact that they were probably 8" from the top of his shoes.

I don't understand this trend.

And he probably wasn't wearing socks either right? I absolutely don't get that trend either.

I bought some pants at Dillards recently that weren't bad as everyday slack staples.

I loathe how they all do that expanding waist shite though. Don't get me wrong, the ones with a touch of elastic in the waistband or whatever are fine, but the little sliding apparatus ones are fricking awful.

I got a pair of Cubaveras from a TJ Maxx recently and they are awesome fit-wise. I don't know if that was an anomaly but my next pair will be from their website and if all goes well, I think I've found my go to slacks.

He actually did have socks but you needed sunglasses to look at them

I don't know about dress pants, but shirts are definitely not designed for skinny people. It's getting easier to find shirts, especially polos, but most brands have a cut that's too wide for people who aren't fat or a body builder.

I have my fair share of #gainz but am certainly no muscle man, and every pair of jeans or slacks I try on are cut so tight in the leg. I end up having to go up some waist sizes and that's almost just as bad.

height and weight?

Do I have to get custom tailored pants just to get a normal fitting pair?

Its the way to go anyway. Once you wear custom dress clothes, everything feels like shite.
