The DOTD decide to make improvements to the interstate when we have the highest population we ever have. We have a lot of temporary workers living in the area at the time, and traffic will be a nightmare for a few years if not more.

They are repairing the i10 bridge. It goes down to 1 lane, 210 might be quicker.

It takes a little over 4 hrs to get to Houston from where I am... One time coming home from Houston, just right outside of Houston there was a wreck involving 2 18 wheelers and a few other vehicles and traffic was at a stop for about two and a half hours. They had to land a helicopter then remove the 18 wheelers.. it was a mess.

Get to Lake Charles and there was road work going on and got caught behind another wreck. Traffic was at a complete stop for about 30 mins then for the next hour it was stop and go. Move up a few feet, then stop for a few minutes, move up a few feet, wait another few minutes. Although it wasn't as long as the first wreck we were caught up in, it felt like it was twice as long and it's more frustrating because it seems like it doesn't matter what time you pass through there the traffic sucks..

Would it be faster to take 190 from Beaumont into BR?

Looks like backups are all east bound.

I'm with you. I grew up there, and just visited there last week and thought I would lose my fricking mind with traffic on Ryan. Oh, don't even frick with the traffic on I-10 after 3:00. Bridge construction will drive you crazy.

No turn lanes, dumbasses driving like they are all on prozac.

Has Waze figured out that there is a bridge over the calcasieu river between westlake and moss bluff yet?

They aren't touching the bridge, only the expansion joints at the foot and the sections of interstate east of bridge... stupid POS DOTD engineering at its finest.
