not going poly but the current pres was elected to try to break the chain of party/pols and the associated nepotistic, PAC, etc., bs that goes with party politics, etc., and the baggage that came with it, I think Cuban would not be a bad choice to try and do that again

Exactly, but in reality he would represent people on this board overall. He wouldn’t kill small businesses bc that is how he made it. He would be pro business, pro America, but also do things like not oppose marijuana legalization, also wouldn’t be for being involved in ridiculous wars that don’t benefit us overall.

But he also wouldn’t oppose abortion or pander to the evangelical right. Which would make him unelectable as a Republican candidate.

Not a fan of Mark Cuban.

One that won’t address China? Seems to be a common theme among y’all.

I have always been a fan of his. That doesn't mean I have agreed with everything he has said or done, but that applies to pretty much everyone.
When he first bought the Mavs I used to like the fact he would sit a few rows up from the team. And I used to like how he would be vocal with the refs.. He is probably the most "of the people" billionaire on Earth.
There is nothing about him that would suggest he would put self interest above country and I do think he would actually have goals and ideas on how to reach those goals.

They won't allow him to run as a Democrat so therefore he will join the Republican party and instantly he becomes the move vile racist the world has ever known.
Cuban is definitely a Democrat, but I can’t tell if he aligns with them because he doesn’t want the Mavs to revolt, or if he is a liberal elitest.

the fact that he isn't a far right winger.
what policies do the “far right wingers” advocate for?

I get the feeling he’s a liberal as he has to be so his money isn’t effected. if the mob was on his door step tomorrow he’d walk out that door in a dress passing out checks

He definitely is a democrat but I think he would be far more moderate than their current roster of candidates. The Democrat party has a clear vision for the direction that they want to lead the country in and I am not sure that Cuban would "toe the line" and follow their lead. The republican party is as fractured since the Trump administration took office so I could see him taking that nomination.

Sexual discrimation lawsuit a couple years ago with Mavs would end his career before it started if he ran as Republican. If he ran Dem it would be ok.

Cuban 2024! He would get my vote

A few weeks ago I googled him and was surprised to read he is 62. I thought he was closer to 42.
His kids are 16, 13, and 10.
Seems like a good guy on shark tank and good for him for his business endeavors.

Libertarian here. If he was on the ballot he would be my #1 choice and it would be the first time I have marked the ballot for a (D) in my life.
