With most jobs, once you're off work, you don't have to think about it until you're back at work again. School is always on the back of your mind due to exams, homework, and studying. You can truly leave your work at work.
Having money to do things is really nice. You can take vacations, see the world, afford tickets to music festivals, have a nice car, eat good food, etc.
If you're still single, you can still go out and meet women, it's just not as insanely easy as it was in college. However, being flush with cash helps.
If you're not single, you can look forward to children and re-living your childhood through their eyes.

Take 6 months off and travel Europe, seriously
Like every broke college kid has the money for that.

I loved my college years but might have enjoyed my 20's after college even more.
I had a decent job, spending money, no responsibilities except for myself, small house, and no relationship (didn't get married until I was 32).
It was great for that time of my life. I went to every LSU game home and away, traveled around other places to visit, partied 2-3 nights a week, etc. Life was good.
PS. I also think this also makes you a better husband and father down the road. I didn't have to go through a mid life crisis like some people that got married in their early 20's and had kids.

I wasnt a frat star, but college had fun moments. Tailgating, meeting girls, friends, roomates, parties, intramurals, playing video games with friends till 2 Am, pizza, sororities, road trips, clubs, classes.... Just youth in general. how will adult life compare? A boring job?
I'm one of the few who will tell you that life after college is much easier and better. But .... I worked and played rugby while going to school full time.
Things I love about life after college.
1. being able to afford an 8 ball without telling your parents why you made a $200 cash advance on their credit card.
2. Sunday Fundays after Football games(I was a computer/finance nerd at LSU and had plenty work to do on Sundays). You really get to enjoy Sunday Brunch and Football AND LSU baseball on Sundays after college.
3. Not worrying about Finals over Thanksgiving and mid-terms over Mardi Gras. Kids or no kids, your holidays are much more relaxing when no projects are due and no Exams on Mondays when you get back.
4. No matter how stressful a day is, you can drop that shite and pick it back up in the morning.
Notes:
* I speak from a job where I don't rely on commission or have major project deadlines.
* I partied a LOT in college and had a ton of friends/good times in Tigerland/road trips/rugby parties.
But I overwhelmingly enjoy life after college a lot more. It's far less stressful.
Until you have 4 kids. frick THIS. Wear rubbers.

Well at least you will still have that memory to hang onto after the divorce.

I'm really enjoying not worrying about studying and projects every night.

Ear Hair, erectile problems, loss of metabolism, hemorrhoids, hangovers get 100x's worse, loss of hair on your head, sagging balls, etc...
But you don't have to study anymore so that's nice.

That window from getting out of college to having kid #1 is the grace period you have until the shite hits the fan in the real world. I know that getting married usually happens after college but I got married my last semester of college so I had no true after college single life.

I was an LSU frat star. I took a job out of the country for two years, lived simply, saved all the money I made. I then moved to hippy paradise (Boulder) and got really compulsive about cycling and hiking. The years from 26 to about 32 were almost perfect. I DNGAF about career, just maxed out my days as much as possible.
College, by comparison was somebody else's paradigm. I faked it as well as I could, but it was on somebody else's terms- frat house- college professors-girlfriends-parents-grades- no money- etc. when I graduated I felt Free and never looked back.
My advice- don't get on the treadmill. Your best days are ahead. College is kid stuff and fun - but still kid stuff.
