Seems pretty clear to me there are Yield signs at that roundabout...OP must've cut someone (in the roundabout) off

Yep. I can't wait until they put a roundabout around Baton Rouge.

It's a yield not a stop. Did you get into an accident, if so you would be cited for failure to yield ? There are stop signs on the service road upon entering the traffic circle but not in the circle itself. That's the point of the circle, continuous flow. And there are other circles; Ridge Rd. and Rue De Belier, Youngsville has couple in the new areas. They really work well and have improved traffic congestion, ask anyone that had to pass Ridge and Rue De Belier before or after work hours. We really need more of them not less.

Who wants to bet that the ticket OP got is "failure to yield", which means "OP will be paying the City of Scott $175 and court costs".

EDIT: I'm guessing what really happened here was more like "OP did not slow approaching the circle or floored it to get into the circle ahead of oncoming traffic, hence failing to safely and properly yield right-of-way."

Yep.

and FYI, boudin balls from Billy's and boudin from Don's. Best Stop boudin is good too but I no not like the oversized chucks of green onions.

The only places i've seem them are in Scott LA, on LSU campus and in Green Bay Wisconsin? I know they are all the thing in Europe but make no sense here in the US.

As mentioned, there are a good amount of them around here. They seem to work well. Though some people still don't know how to use them which I assume is why DOTD has been pumping out the infomercials.
