I found that the comfortable pants look sloppy and the uncomfortable pants look dressy/well fitting(?). I don't care if I look sloppy...more ball room, the better. No skinny jeans crap:

I like to wear my jeans so tight and skinny that you can see the wrinkles in my nutsack.

I get jeans in wither straight or athletic, I even have a pair of skinny..
In pants I get slim or regular.. It's all about what you like and what looks good on you.
Don't go with loose fit, or anything that will make you look like an old man.

I personally aim to have all of my pants tailored to fit quarter break, but sometimes end up with no break. Either of those are fine.
Half break is pushing it, and full break is a no-go.
I think this is a perfectly tailored pair of pants.
