They were awesome. Would not be where I am today without them. Both gone now but I truly loved them both. I actually miss them more than my own parents.

The old lady and I come from humble beginnings and made good on our own, so we owe no homage to anyone.

My mother and father in law are both wonderful people. Friendly

The middle sister in law is weird as frick but good hearted. I look after her like a little sister

The youngest sister in law and her husband... well... I have nothing to say about them. I'll leave it at that .

None. Mine are dead.
And speaking for my wife, hers are 0 on a scale of 1-10.

Never met my wifes father, he passed before we met. I absolutely loved my mother in law. She was the only one that understood my wife and could get her off my arse when she got on a my arse…lol. I love and miss that woman.

My parents(mostly my mother) have been pieces of shite to my wife and me. We’ve had very little contact with them. It’s very very sad. I’ve come to grips, but my daughter has basically grown up with no grandparents which brings me to tears.

Loved my FIL. He told me once that I was the son he never had. He's dead now though.

MIL?

White folk. Farmer/ranchers in west Texas.

Good folk and blessed to have them as in-laws. I hope my sons are as fortunate.

My parents are great people that I love but not in the least bit endearing.

I consider myself extremely libertarian/right wing and I have to talk both sets of parents off the Fox News ledge sometimes.

Excellent except for when I have to embarrass my mother in law when she’s on one of her prog rants.

My MIL is great.
She's reasonable. Doesn't badmouth me or anything.

Wife is estranged from her Dad.
I met him at a wedding. We got along fine. Seems ok to me.

Great people I’ve known my entire life. It would be easy to bitch about in-laws on a message board, but in the 26 years I’ve been with their daughter, I honestly feel like I have zero complaints, compared to lots of people.

My wife used to get so pissed at me because as soon as we got to their house my FIL would drag me off in the woods hunting and bring me home drunk.

I was always like "wtf baby, do you not want me to bond with your dad?". I think that excuse got old to her after about 10-12 years though

I actually get along with my former in-laws better than the current administration.

I used to get lit with my FIL in the early days and my wife had similar complaints. He is a retired judge and used to get the best moonshine

He got cancer though and doesn’t drink anymore
