Costcos are insane. Got a bunch for New Year's and those things have chunks of crab the size of huge sausages in there. I generally hate eating crab because of the work involved for little reward, but not with those.

I swear it's like bait to poor people, the casinos are full of people who go specifically for the crab legs.

I dunno, but if I am jonesing for crab legs, Albertson's is the first place I would think of to get them for a reasonable price, and they'll steam them for you.

I like buying a few pounds when we boil crawfish. Throw them in the pot when you cut the fire

You know our government has no common sense when you can use an EBT card to buy crab legs.

it really does annoy me what EBT can pay for
Crab legs shouldnt be allowed
Crab legs shouldnt be allowed

how much crab legs would be a decent sized portion for 1 person? i'd just let albertson's steam them.

Rice, beans and water being the only thing you can buy on EBT would fix the fraud in a hurry.

Wouldn't stop gas stations from ringing up liquor as milk

How do you heat them up?

i'd like to see that shite get policed better, along with checking out who parks in the handicapped spots.

I was travelling this weekend and stopped at McDonald's in West Point, MS Friday night. Some woman came in and was trying to get 2 combo meals on what I guess was an EBT card. The guy behind the counter kept telling her the other person was supposed to be there to put 2 combos on the card. Is this some kind of restriction that is supposed to combat fraud? Dude ended up giving her both combos anyway

I typically do two clusters of snow crabs (1 crab) and 3-4 king crab legs.

Go to Whole Foods if you want to see extreme EBT fraud/abuse. It is a shame what people can get on that card, especially now that it can be used for hot food until the end of the month.

Maybe I don't know how this EBT works, but wouldn't buying crab legs just take more out of their monthly allowance? So instead of 3lbs of meat they get 1 lb of crab legs?

I remember when our Wal-Mart made the national news - the EBT system went down and under Wal-Mart policy (at the time) they would still take the card, but no restrictions. Shopping carts full of meat, televisions, DVD's etc. The cops had to bar anyone from entering the store as it was so crowded (fire marshall's request). When the system went up, everyone left - with all the crap still in the carts.
It was a mad house.
