What Is The Difference Between One T-Shirt From Another?

Okay you can buy a plain blue t-shirt from Duluth for $29.99. You can buy a plain blue t-shirt from Hanes for $6.99.
At Express, a T-shirt with graphics on it cost $39.99. I would never pay that damn much for a t-shirt. Anyway, I am sure if you bought a Gucci t-shirt it would be even more expensive.
So what is the difference from a hanes t-shirt and a duluth t-shirt? Well, I guess the better question is.. Why would people pay so much more for a T-shirt? Ralph Lauren, for example, has better quality polo shirt than let's say... Gap, American Eagle, etc.. So I understand why they are a little more expensive, but we are talking about a t-shirt.

T-shirt designers tend to have different cuts and styles.

What is a t-shirt? Must require a trip to Walmart which no one on the OT would do. I only buy button down dress shirts hand spun by craftsmen in Italy.

Sometimes it's better material and last longer, but more times then not, it's a status symbol

Quality/softness of the cotton, shrinkage.
Oh, and label, so everyone knows you spent $30 on a t-shirt.

Yeah, this is more of what I was getting at. It just doesn't make any sense to me to spend $30 on a t-shirt.

Almost all of my tshirts are from drake and I think I paid about $8 each on average

Sorry you're so poor that you can't tell the difference between the fabric in T-shirts.

I don't think I've spent more than 6 bucks on a tshirt in years

Sorry I manage my money and would rather buy a $5 tshirt than a $30 tshirt so that I can try to impress people.

I bought a $100 shirt made entirely of $5 bills.

Ive never paid $30 for an undershirt but I've paid $10 for high quality Pima Cotton undershirts that lasted a few years and was well worth the investment.
Eta: I understand you're talking about tshirts in general.

Only type of Tshirt I would pay that much for is a Polo tshirt, which are made with high quality material, are cut so that they fit really well on me, and I'm a big fan on the tshirt pocket
