It ain’t hard. My mother who had a lot of gay guy friends when she moved to Florida explained it to us when we were very young. Her telling use didn’t turn us gay.

Lesbians are Chadsexual. Like all women, they are powerless in the presence of a sufficiently attractive man. I had one admit it to me just a few weeks ago.
I knew she mostly got with women, but the other girls in the office were discussing some guy they found hot, and she said something like, "if I'm going to be with a man, he needs to be able to throw other men through a plate glass window if he needs to." So it's not that she's not attracted to men, she just doesn't want to bother with the 99% she finds unworthy.
With other women that percentage is more like 90%, or 95%, and we call them "straight," but they're not. They're all opportunists, and frankly that thread about male height and homosexuality just goes to show you that the same is true of men.

Ok, I’ll give it a go. Is scissoring worth all the effort. Just seems like an inefficient way to cause stimulation versus other methods.

My kids spanned a total of nine grades in school so I knew a bunch of parents associated with my kids’ schoolmates.
Out of those total of a couple of hundred parents (99%+ originally heterosexual couples), I saw four wives defect from Team PNV to join the ScissorSquad.
Two of the four came back to the home team after a year or two. The other two (at last report) are still out there somewhere in the bush.
Not scientific but that’s my parental experience.
Separately, when I was single I have personal experience to agree with the adage that women are a bottle of wine away from being bisexual.
