Classically defined "Uptown" and Audubon Place are classier than the Garden District. As are much of the areas closer to the park by State/Nashville. Much further distance from the nearby undesirable areas than the Garden District.

Dang, I had no idea it's turned into that. I have family that live in there and admittedly, have not been to their house in over 10 years because it's so far out of the way. I just remembered it being an awesome neighborhood when I used to visit.
