There are two.
1) The vast majority of the people in this country have lost (or never had) the ability to think clearly and independently. They simply know they are on Team A or Team B, and they do whatever that team tells them to do.
2) There is no longer any political support for the middle class. The Republicans own the rich, and the Democrats own the poor. No one looks out for the middle class.

china is the biggest external threat to our country and has been for years. Unfortunately, we are transferring away from an administration that recognized that fact and to one that is in bed with china and is likely to cede even more to that country. Make no mistake about it, our country is in a cold war with china. It is a multi-front war that we are losing badly. Burying our heads in the sand to that fact will not help us.
