MONEY! And job stability. Graduated from LSU in the spring. Having trouble finding a permanent job. Job market is terrible. Wife and I are tired of being 'in transition.'

I came in to post some smart arse answer about how difficult it is to get around town and stay 500 yards away from schools at all times, but your post was kind of a downer. Chin up man, things could always be worse.

Personally, I'm pretty lonely. It gets depressing but everyone just tells me I am old. Sometimes I go to the casino just to have people to talk to.

Honestly? I need a job. Sucks having experience in one thing and not wanting anything to do with that profession anymore.

I moved into a rent house on friday, but there's so much left to do. The windows are being replaced, i'm waiting on electricians to install the dryer, a gate needs to be hung over the driveway to fence off the backyard, my book shelf needs to be repaired, i need to unpack a ton of stuff, ect. There's just never enough hours in the day with work all the time.

I've been trying to balance bass fishing and golf. Spend most weekend nights now on the lake while golfing during the day. It's starting to take a till in my body but don't want to lose touch with one over the other.

F*** being lonely dude. Get a hobby or three that you enjoy.

I'm worried about my Father, increasingly so. He is retired now and I think he has become depressed. Great guy, doesn't travel well and is kind of isolated. He has hobbies and land to tend, but he is really good with people and I think it's eating him up. He cannot be helped though, he is the type of man that does things on his own accord.

My mom is worried about him too. She won't say anything, but I can tell. I don't see them much, I fly them to us twice a year and go there once a year. It's the hardest part of going your own way and uprooting your life, you burden others that would typically have you close. My folks don't have a family member within five hours of them.

I'm just going to say a prayer for everyone here who gave an honest answer that your burdens might feel a little lighter.

Best thread yet, SS.

Divorced parents. Sister I haven't spoken to in 8 years. Raising my first kid (9 months) and trying to pretend that I know wtf I'm doing.

worrying about how my oldest son with Down syndrome will make out in this crazy world we live in..

I have a cousin with DS who is doing just fine. My aunt isn't the most mentally stable person so he has to look after her instead of the other way around. I think it has helped him by taking on some responsibility. I am very surprised how well he has done.

My biggest stress is my job. Seems like everyday there is something and I just got promoted.
