Heading up this weekend with Mrs. Hoyt and wanted to treat her to something other than Arby's and ham sammiches.... do tell.

No idea, but go rafting on the Ocoee.

If only there was an app for that. Urbanspoon is great for finding out good restaurants in an unfamiliar area.

Meeting Place is my favorite, I would say its, if not #1, its in the top 5 Menu
FYI: Unless you are coming to town for Riverbend, be aware, the big music festival starts today and most of the streets downtown are closed and parking and traffic are sure to be a nightmare on that side of the river.
The Northshore area should be ok to get around, there's a new restaurant that just opened called Beast & Barrel that's pretty good too. B&B Menu

I don't know if it's the best, but I like to stop at Big River Grille when passing through Chattanooga.

Can't you eat dinner in a train car?
I thought I read that about Chattanooga.

Meeting place is tasty but loud.
Champies has great fried chicken
Tremont tavern is the best burger in town
I like chato brasserie.

Chattanooga is really fun, downtown scene is killing places nearby like Knoxville

meh, Lupis is good, but of all the great places already recommended, this does not really belong among them/
