re: What is Lakewood, Colorado like?

Last time I got drunk/ a couple weeks ago I got some kind of food poisoning or beer poisoning. The next day every time I had water or anything else I threw it up within the hour. I've tried to drink twice since then and couldn't finish my third beer. I like hemp more anyway

Lakewood is just a Denver suburb. You don't even realize you're in a different city. It's all connected.

Typically, it's a more blue collar area. It's pretty safe. But there really isn't much crime there in general. Anything on the west side of Denver is fine. And even the roughest area in Denver, is just quaint compared to bad neighborhoods in Southern states.

I worked in Lakewood once for a week or so. Seemed very commercial, but nice. Has nice view of mountains, seems pretty close to stuff to do. Seems like a middle ground from city to outdoor spots. Was nothing special to me.

Don't tell anyone you're from Texas. Coloradans hate Texans worse than Alaskans do. The minute you're gone, they'll plot against you.

I never heard anyone talk shite about Alaskans in Colorado. They do hate Texans and Californians. But that's what happens when you get a major influx of people who want to change an area culturally to be like where they moved from.

In Nola, it was California and Brooklyn. In Asheville, it was Floridians. In NW Arkansas, it's Texans. People don't like seeing local culture change, and/or real estate skyrocket because people from a more expensive area move in and overpay.
