Also... they like giving those free chicken sandwich cards out if they even remotely mess up something...
We ordered 2 ice dream cups the other for my two of my kids ... They gave us 3... I said.. I only ordered 2...they let me keep the 3rd one, wouldn't let me pay for it, and the manager whipped out one of those "have a free chicken sandwich on us" card and gave it to me. How is that not awesome.

CFA has 3 options. It's not hard for them to prepare a bunch of shite during its peak hours and get it out quickly. None of it's going to expire and need to be wasted. Not to mention it's all boneless so it fries up quicker. Pressure cooked too, so it's faster.
Manager: "employee, keep dropping chicken breast and nuggets until I say stop. You, make the orders as they come across the speakers"
Their long arse drive thru is actually beneficial to them. Gives them more time to have it ready when you reach the window.
Simple and effective. They are printing money and can hire good employees and managers. Makes it a first class operation and great business model.
You look at a place like Popeyes and it takes 15 minutes for a round of bone in chicken to be prepared with a 48 piece max. You have to time the drops correctly because people don't want to wait and they don't want expired chicken. People can wipe out the dark or white meat. They have to prepare multiple side item offerings (mash potatoes, gravy, Cajun rice, red beans, the rice for the RBs, green beans, etc) along with strips, shrimp, nuggets, fish, onion rings, fries, biscuits, pies etc. You can expect a wait bc no Popeyes can pull of those logistics perfectly, especially with the type of worker they attract.

I've been in some horrendously long CFA lines in several different places and I've never once had to wait 10 minutes.
