Do you typically ride in the left lane of a 2 lane road?

I think you notice it more because those lights are shining directly in your back window.

I always accelerate by 5 to 10 mph over my cruise speed if I'm passing, and I get over when it's safe - that means I'm giving tractor trailers about 5 car lengths.

But if I'm passing after speeding up and I still have those LED's or brights blinding me in my mirrors, I'm slowing the frick down till I'm barely driving faster than the car I'm passing.

frick those assholes.

Most people keep enough distance by making sure you can still see the rear tires of the vehicle in front of you.

I don't think OP is talking about at a stop light. At any driving speed you should be able to see the tires of the vehicle in front of you and a shite load of pavement.

At least you can see them. Sometimes people in low cars will ride you so close you can barely see them out your back window.

Had a similar situation with one of those lifted trucks the other week. Driving on a 2-lane road and was stuck 4 cars behind a box truck going 10 mph under posted speed limit. Stupid truck comes running up on me, flashing lights, and riding my arse as if I was the one holding up the line. When I turned off the street, he then rides the horn as he passes the street

9 MPH over the speed limit isn't a snails pace. I'll get back in the right lane once I'm done passing. Until then, frick off.

A big truck once used the right shoulder on the interstate to pass me several years ago. And I’m pretty sure I was driving slightly above the speed limit. It was one of the strangest things I’ve witnessed.

Big trucks as in 18 wheelers?

How many times do you see trucks like this going 90 miles an hour bearing down on you in the left lane?

Do you travel anywhere?

When they ride my arse I like to hit windshield washer. It will send spray over my truck onto their windshield. I find it to be just enough to piss them off without brake checking.

I drove from Tampa to Atlanta recently and it felt like there was an F-150 on my arse the entire time. Occasionally it'd be a Chevy, or a Dodge, or maybe an F-250, but by and large my observation is that people in F-150s are the biggest pricks on the planet.

I was in stand still/bumper to bumper traffic yesterday on 65 and this fricker kept getting right up on my arse, deliberately. It was an SUV though. He even beeped at me because I let the car in front of me roll to like a 10 foot cushion before I started accelerating. If you get on my arse when I am going the speed limit in a non passing lane, I will go slower than you can ever imagine.

My wife has a habit of having to be right on someone's arse when she is driving. There could be no one else for miles on the interstate, but she will drive 100 mph to get behind someone. I don't know why she does that. The past 15 years or so, when we go somewhere together, I drive.
