The bridge is in St. James Parish, but it is the easiest way to get between West and East Ascension.

Not for ascension. Was just before shift change so had the morning and evening shifts both going over there. Not to mention saw at least a dozen state troopers.

I would imagine any time some dumb shite takes a shot at a cop- hitting him or not- its going to draw lots of attention from way more agencies than the shooter ever imagined.
