Impossible to keep that under the wraps. No witnesses from air or ground of a missle. The flight crew of another airborne aircraft witnessed the explosion moments before and after it happened. The NTSB reproduced the outcome in lab testing. Commercial aircraft started carrying a safe amount of fuel in auxiliary and unused main fuel tanks to reduce explosion risk due to vaporization.

I’m not sure what the actual truth is but nothing about the Vegas shooter makes since. The bellhop witness isn’t believable, sheriff was obviously trying to cover something up, many reports of seeing other shooters (I know these can be unreliable), more cameras per square inch than any other city and actual video of the “shooter” is sparse. The biggest thing is it was the biggest mass shooting ever and the media coverage just disappeared like a fart in the wind. The whole situation is as fricky as fricky gets.
