I believe your referencing Kennesaw, Georgia. IIRC the law supported homeowners keeping guns for self defense.

Well not everyone needs a gun. My wife for example. Hopefully I’ll be there.

My county's sheriff tried to deputize all gun owners 2 years and a couple weeks back. He's currently fighting 2 felonies and 5 misdemeanors. Ironically for lying about his side piece stalking him, whilst armed. She was also a cop.

After that creates more unintended consequences than we wish to count, we should all be issued grenades.

If that does not work, javelins for everyone, tanks for the aristocrats, and nukes for mayors who do not have impulse issues.

Just like the vision of our wonderful country by our forefathers.

You could think of worse laws to pass.

There’d be a lot less crime, a lot less people too.

The Kennesaw statute doesn't simply support homeowners having a firearm for self-defense and protection, it actually requires it. As a result, Kennesaw is one of the safer places to live in the Atlanta metro area.

Not a good idea. Pretty stupid, actually. There are quite a few people that shouldn’t be trusted with a gun.

For the record, frick all these gun laws. Not keeping anyone safer.

The only thing that is going to stop violent crime is an armed potential victim. Criminals don’t fear the police, judges or juries. They need to fear their immediate death at the hands of their next potential victim.

Everyone in Baton Rouge should be armed or they accept the consequences.
