We spent 2 weeks in Japan back in January, including a few days on the amazing Sado Island.
We scheduled that trip right around this time last year, and I'm so glad that the timing worked out the way that it did, because obviously we had no idea when we booked that the shite would be hitting the fan like 2 weeks after we got back.
I also get to go back home to Austin in October to attend the wedding of two close friends. That one hasn't happened yet, clearly, but it's nice to have something to look forward to right now.

Yea my parents went to Italy right before everything started. They were grateful they got to go when they did. Pictures were beautiful

Secondly, I would say that I got to spend a pretty great week in Destin recently. I didn’t spend a penny on anything. My meals were all cooked/bought for me. I didn’t chip in for the condo or gas or booze. Entertainment was all paid for for me.

Thankful that my family is healthy.
My 2 grandsons graduated from high school.
My granddaughter made high school cheerleader.
My youngest grandson was able to spend time with us.
LSU had the best season I ever had the pleasure to experience in my 45 years of owning season tickets.

getting covided from my last job (company made equipment for dental practices), after every dental practice in the world simultaneously closed their doors. Finding a new job as soon as the economy opened in a more fulfilling role making 8k more a year.
